Why do we need your Resting Heart Rate?
Unlike basic calculators that only use a percentage of your Max HR, we use the Karvonen formula (Heart Rate Reserve). It factors in your Resting Heart Rate (a key indicator of fitness) to provide a much more personalized and accurate training zone.
